About the Blog

Dear Readers,

You may have stumbled upon a blog entitled, "Law Student's Coffee Table" while searching on the internet as to "How to digest a case" perhaps you may have stumbled upon a blog entry from the said blog entitled, "LET'S DIGEST (A GUIDE ON HOW TO DIGEST A CASE)" which is a detailed guide on how to digest a case. It was a humble attempt on my part to create a blog that would help struggling law students like me. That was around six (6) excruciating years ago.

That blog would have had potential if given the chance. However, I am no longer able to recall the email I used for the said blog and I certainly do not have the luxury of time for the laborious process of reviving the said blog. Ladies and gentlemen, there are many great endeavors in this world, and retrieving a blog in its infancy isn't one. Therefore, instead of reviving the blog, I am going to reintroduce the idea behind the blog through this new blog entitled, "Dear Future Lawyers" which is a branch of my other blog entitled, "On the Topic" where I discuss anything under the sun.

I always think that life should not be complicated for the future generation. I also think that the study of law nor should the appreciation of the law be limited to the chosen few who pursued their calling in Law School. Thus, through this humble blog, I would like to offer the little knowledge and appreciation I have for the study of law. Perhaps one day, I could share my thoughts through a different venue, but for now, we will have to settle with this venue.

Though I cannot promise to give you a daily fix due to my busy schedule, I will, however, try my best to make detailed explanations on the topics I will be discussing here from time to time. I hope you, my dear readers would join me in this tete-a-tete discussing everything about law, the study of law, the status quo, what can be improved, and other thoughts relating to the appreciation of the law.

Sit back, relax, and let us appreciate the study of law together.

Yours Sincerely,

KDG

LAW SCHOOL ADVICE - HOW TO MAKE A CASE DIGEST : A DETAILED GUIDE ON MAKING A CASE DIGEST

DISCLAIMER:  This entry may look familiar since this is from my other blog, "LAW STUDENT'S COFFEE TABLE" however, I made some minor adjustments and improvements so that you can make an organized, effective, and understandable case digest. Let us start with the basics.  How do you digest a case? Some students and not just law students who have law subjects are often asked by their professors as a requirement for their class to digest cases that are normally assigned by your professors either for your next meeting or for the whole semester.  For someone who does not know how to digest a case, this can be a laborious task as some cases may be as long as reading a whole book.  What are these cases assigned to you by your professors? These are the cases decided by the Supreme Court containing the story of the case and the application of the principles and theories that are discussed under the law.  These cases were assigned to you simply because they are related to t...
